Our Story
My grandfather, H.W. Byrum, purchased what is now Oakledge in 1943 as a working cattle farm near Clinton, MO. Today, Oakledge remains a fully operational boutique farm specializing in selective genetics for Black Angus livestock. This small operation is home to less than 200 head, all humanely cared for. We go to great lengths to provide a healthy environment with exceptional food sources in an effort to produce some of the highest quality steaks available. All beef is processed by a USDA certified butcher and dry aged for 21 days. Thank you for your order and please enjoy our delicious steaks.
